Try 20–20–20

Every 20 minutes, look at something about 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Blink naturally and relax your shoulders. Set a reminder if you tend to lose track of time.

Adjust your setup

Reduce glare, position the screen at a comfortable distance and use your current prescription if you have one. Dryness, headache or double vision that persists deserves an eye examination.

Understand the limit

These habits can ease digital eye strain; they do not reverse nearsightedness, cataracts or other eye disease. Clinician-directed convergence exercises are a specific treatment for diagnosed convergence insufficiency, not a general vision workout. Sudden vision loss or a new curtain over vision needs urgent medical care.
